When I walk through the town.
And see people rushing by.
I only shake my head and frown.
Because there is no reason why.
Time will move at its own pace.
And yet people don’t stand still.
It’s like they think they’re in a race.
Trying to win, but never will.
But if they would just take the time.
And look farther than they did.
This unfair world of corruption and crime.
Will they face the problems, from which they’ve always hid.
Humankind is blind, always racing.
Ignoring the true problems our world is always facing.
